My name is MBUSA MICAH KAHERU, A WEB DESIGNER and am a teacher by professional.
Currently, I work with War Child Canada (WCC) in partnership with Mastercard Foundation for (The Bridge project) under Accelerated Education Programme (AEP) as ICT Teacher and IT department focal person at Rhino camp s s, based in Rhino camp Refugee settlement, Madi Okello district in west Nile.
I have a bachelor's degree of science with Education (BSC, ICT and MATHEMATICS from KABALE UNIVERSITY), a certificate in CYBER SCIENCE as cyber certified computer teacher from cyber school of TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, sponsored by WCC and a certificate in web Design from REFACTORY, sponsored by UNICEF and UNHCR.
I am a person who is result oriented and works towards achieving organizational goals under little or minimum supervision. I am always flexible towards learning new approaches and methods of doing work.
This has helped me to deliver quality services whenever I am given an opportunity. I am always passionate with learning new technologies to keep me updated and relevant in the internet driven society.
As an ICT teacher, I aim to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to become confident and creative users of technology. I use a variety of teaching methods and tools, such as group activities, group discussions online platforms, presentations and multimedia applications, to make ICT lessons engaging and relevant. I also encourage students to explore and experiment with ICT, and to apply their learning to real-world problems and projects. I have successfully integrated ICT into other subjects, such as math, science, and art, to enhance cross-curricular learning and collaboration. I do love teaching and sharing my knowledge and experiences with the young generation to become excellent.
